Ten Bulls, by Kakuan, is a famous Zen text that has been illustrated many times. In this presentation, the brush paintings are by Tomikichiro Tokuriki. Translation of the text are by Nyogen Senzaki and Paul Reps. They have been published by Charles E. Tuttle in the book, Zen Flesh, Zen Bones.
They form a meditative sequence that is ideal for those quiet moments of reflection, on a train, on a park bench or at the beach.
Enjoy!
