The PCB Current Calculator gives rough approximations of temperature rise of copper wires at 20 degrees Celsius. Using curves of best fit applied to the IPC-2221's external temperature rise chart, the Current Calculator approximates an in-between value based on your number of amps and cross section of your trace and fills in the imaginary line. Use the sliders or input boxes to change the values of width, current, and length. The width and current sliders will affect the graph and your internal and external temperature rise. The length and width sliders will affect your resistance value. You can also select a weight of your wire to affect the measurements you get.
