The calculations are base on the 2008 and 2011 NEC code. Note: The app is called Wire Ampacity and not Circuit Ampacity. This app does not specify the size of an over-current device, simply the AMPACITY of the wire (i.e. #14 75 degree wire has an ampacity of 20A, but should not be used with a 20A breaker).
