In direct contrast to the use of legacy closed-circuit television (CCTV) inspection technology that relies on visual observations of a user, Electro Scan’s patent-pending technology automatically locates and quantifies defects that cause leaks.Designed and developed in accordance with ASTM Standard F2550-06, Electro Scan measures the variation in electricity passing through defects in non-conductive pipes (e.g. brick, reinforced concrete, PVC, resin liners, etc.).
