Locally owned and operated, FUN 92.7 WAFNFM is actively involved in the communities it serves. We serve on the boards of the Child Advocacy Center of Marshall County, The Better Business Bureau of North Alabama, Artists Responding to Students ARTS, and other local groups dedicated to community service. Other organizations we support include Companion Animal Rescue of Arab, Alabama CARAA; the Marshall County Natural Hazards Mitigation Committee; the Marshall County Strategic National Stockpile Planning Team; and Citizen Corps Council of Marshall County. We also provide special support services to United Way of Marshall County, MadisonMarshall County American Red Cross, Salvation Army, Drug Free Marshall County, Neighborhood Watch, and the Whole Backstage. Last year, FUN 92.7 provided more than 100,000 in promotional support to numerous civic groups, nonprofit organizations and worthy causes by providing free radio advertising, production and dubbing of public service announcements for distribution to other radio stations, cash and inkind donations.
