The italian National Fire Corps, Public Rescue and Civil Defence Department Ministry of the Interiors, among the different institutional missions is engaged in spreading the culture of safety, to increase knowledge about risk and to help people to limit its exposure to hazards. For this reason, the staff of the National Fire Corps has developed this application which has the purpose of helping its user to recognize immediately the significance of the UN and Kemler codes numbers that appear in the panel with orange background displayed on vehicles carrying potentially dangerous substances. Each code is associated with some information in order to let people understand which substance is delivered and if such substance is dangerous. It39;s worth noting that this software is not intended as a professional program for risk assessment, but as a first source of information through a mobile support.
