Your school's management data in the palm of your hand!  Groupcall Emerge enables schools to have an up-to-the-minute copy of their pupil and staff information instantly and securely accessible on Android devices (runningAndroid 2.1.1 or later, with Wi-Fi capability*). Registration can be taken, and student information (timetables, medical details, attendance etc.) can be accessed wherever staff require it, without relying on a desktop PC.  Emerge for Android can be used on a variety of devices including Android tablets. It is the ideal companion to its iOS cousins;- Emerge for iPod and iPhone which has been shown to be indispensable in locations such as the sports field or on school trips. - Emerge HD for iPad whichtakes full advantage of the iPad's larger screen, allowing users to see more information on one screen. All versions are designed to work cross-platform, seamlessly integrating, alongside each other, with the server side software. Groupcall Emerge is the perfect solution to access information when and wherever it is needed i.e. in an emergency situation when access to the school is restricted or when the computer systems may be down; Emerge can help ensure student and staff safety.  Integration with Groupcall Messenger provides instant SMS messaging to student contacts, parents and staff at the click of a button.  With Emerge you can:  • Access data even when a school's SIS/MIS system is unavailable or restricted.• Data is available online or offline.• No need to rely on paper based registers or records: The full school register is available, no matter where you are; in the playing fields, in the gym or even on a school trip. • The school management system is automatically updated when the device is back within wireless range. Security is paramount with all data encrypted using AES (Advanced Encryption Standard).• In the event of an emergency situation i.e. fire, an instant communication route is available to contact school security personnel, medical staff, parents, Head teacher etc. • Other features include instant access to all students' timetables, medical and behavioural details. The device locks automatically when inactive and using two-factor authentication, can only be accessed again using a PIN code. • If a device is lost or stolen, Emerge can be remotely deactivated and all data wiped by an administrator . If the device has not been synchronised for number of days all Emerge data will automatically be deleted on the device, even in offline mode .• Data can be restricted according to staff status, e.g. Administrators, Staff, SLT etc.• Please note that Groupcall Emerge is a subscription-based service. Software must be installed at your school before the application is available for use with real data.The application can used in 'demo' mode by following on screen instructions after install.* Full pre-requisite information can be found at www.groupcall.co.uk/Products/Emerge along with other useful documentation.
