This software been developed to teach preschool children the alphabet. A vital start to their education especially if undertaken before Kindergarten starts. It was created originally to teach one of our developers kids his letters and was further developed from there. This is the Free Lite version, it only goes up to F. You can buy the full version in the game or on Google Play

This app holds to 4 educational principles.

1. It understands that just learning to press the right bit of screen on a phone or tablet is an achievement for the very young. It therefore it avoids complicated games where the child spends more time learning how to play the game rather than actually learning the letters.

2. Its been designed for a child to learn to play by themselves and while we would suggest parental supervision, once the actual learning piece has been launched the child can be encouraged to play on their own.

3. If children make their own connections the learning tends to stick.

4. So we have avoided a common pitfall. Where for example A is linked directly the written word Apple. This often confuses the child as instead of learning 1 letter at a time they are suddenly presented with 5. You’ll see how it works in the game.

The app is structured to allow you to slowly build up your childs knowledge of letters. Day by day watching them learn and grow.
